A Toast, to the Future

I seems strange to me that an entire year and a half has finished with my year in Hawaii and some time here in Japan. Next week I graduate with my MBA and tomorrow is my final day of my internship. I must say that I came into the program a little cocky, or too confident depending on how you want to phrase it. In the end I learned a lot and it is all still settling down in my mind.

I miss Hawaii a little bit, but don’t think I could ever move back there to live. Some people think that I’m crazy but those people have not lived there. Japan I will miss despite the fact people can not seem to ride their bikes straight and the subway is too crowded in the morning. In all honesty I hope to be back here someday and feel that it will happen.

A year and a half where I made new friends and missed my old friends and family; but in the end it seems strange that this is about to end, nor do I want it to continue. I’m a little eager now to find a job and get back home (not particularly in that order). I remember after high school hearing all those speeches about life just beginning (blah blah blah) and hearing the same crap my first college graduation and now I may feel a little of that.

I guess the future is pretty cool, I’m all for it.
