Ueno Park means Panda

I made it to Ueno and to the Zoo there. I saw the panda, I have never seen a panda before and I am taking about riding one all the time. Otherwise the zoo doesn’t have anything that I haven’t seen before except the Hippos and the Japanese Monkeys which I may have seen before. It was really hot and just about every animal was sleeping; only the monkeys were active.

It also rained. For days they have been talking about rain, and it hasn’t rained just been really hot and humid. When I went into the subway it was sunny, humid and hot; when I got out it was cloudy, humid, and hot. While in the zoo it was rainy, humid, and hot. That is the Tokyo summer weather.

Ueno park was the site of an early Japanese temple (Shinto I think) and there are a lot of museums, gardens, and the Zoo. It was a blast and a must for anyone who is thinking about coming to Tokyo. In fact It was so hot that I only stayed out three hours and I didn’t catch everything, so I’ll be coming back.

Otherwise I didn’t do much. Today is my first day of work and I’m a little nervous. I know what I’m supposed to do but I don’t know what to expect.

And a Rodin
