Republicans Drink the Blood of Babies!!

I almost hit a guy on my drive to school. I was driving down Kalakaua Ave which is the street that goes right by Waikiki Beach. Down a little ways there was a man wearing beach clothing and holding a cup of ABC store coffee on the beach side. Most people have not driven down Kalakaua Ave so let me explain it to you: it is 5 lanes of one way traffic and there is a light and cross walk across every half block. During the morning the lanes on each side are packed with delivery trucks for all the hotels and shops in the area. He kept on stepping out into the street and retreating back to his hiding place between the cars. This went on about six times before he takes a leap (it was a leap, not a step) right not 5 feet in front of my car.

His first reaction was not to get out of my way. Instead it was to look the other way, if he was checking for traffic then he was looking the wrong way down the one way street. I composed myself and hit the other petal and the accompanying sound of rubber sliding across the ground. He then turn towards me (in slow motion mind you) and stared right at me with an expression that asks “Why is there a car driving in the street?” before bounding to the next lane where there was a truck driving next to me. Then he decided that this was the wrong way to go and changed directions to get back to the side of the street. In my head I saw the guy slip and place his head right before my tire before being smashed. Instead by some miracle he just made it (I may have clipped him with my passenger side mirror though).

Then he gave me the finger.
