Happy Holidays

There are advocates within the United States that are pushing for people to work up the "courage" to say "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays." John Gibson, former news fixer in Fox News and all around ass hole, has even wrote a book called The War on Christmas: How the Liberal Plot to Ban the Sacred Christian Holiday is Worse Than You Thought and Jennifer Giroux who is making green and red wristbands that say "Just Say Merry Christmas." Her beliefs about this issue have sold her over 58,000 wristbands at $2 each. There is one person who will be able to do a little more Christmas shopping this year.

First, anyone that needs to work up the courage to say "Merry Christmas" instead of "Happy Holidays" has some serious mental issues. Changing two words in your vocabulary does not make courage, keeping cool while people are firing at you takes courage, and so does coming out of the closet in Mississippi. Saying that you need courage to change two words in what you say is a coward's way to make themselves feel better.

Second, it is happy holidays: there is Christmas and New year, and some people even extend it to Thanksgiving. Obviously, these people are advocating prohibiting people from celebrating these holidays.
